Rocky Ridge and ALC Duramax

Hello everyone, just trying to put together a thread to try and help me decide on my next truck. I'm looking at the Rocky Ridge package on a chevy 2500 HD. Trying to find anyone with a Rocky Ridge or ALC package on their duramax. Things as pics, what kinda mpg your getting, how its holding up, any lack of power, and the biggest thing what kinda price tag you had to pay. The dealer I've talked too is wanting $68,500 for a 2500 HD duramax with rocky ridge package. I'm thinking that is a insane price tag for one hopefully find a dealer thats a lil cheaper. Thanks in advance for any info on your rigs.

Thanks,
Doc

My LBZ had an ALC package. I liked it, it was nearly done appreance wise the day I bought it. It was a tad pricey though and I did not get the investment back when I traded it for my LMM, go figure...

Yea here is my opinion way way over priced. The 2 dealers carry the rocky ridge here and it was 55900 on sale for a crew cab half ton that my buddy looked at. So we orderd 6" procomp lift 20" moto metal wheels nitto terra grapplers bushwacker flares 5" oval steps in black that we painted red along with the flares, also ordered custom black trimmed in red katskin leather and a fiberglass leer bed cover. We had everything sitting in the garge on monday he picked his truck up wendsday paid 29800 from a differnt dealer was all done and installed thursday night got aligment and exhaust friday morning.
Had 38500 in the truck with what he wanted not what was sitting there. The only advantage is its done and you can fianace it all right there. My buddy fianced it through the credit union and cut him a check for the accesories.

With the conversion it's ALL warrantied thru GM...

But that being said. I will never buy another conversion truck...

The Only reason why I consider the conversion over doing it myself is that it is fully covered by GM. The difference between a non conversion truck the way I want and a conversion truck is about $15000. Which 15k for a procomp lift, tires, exhaust, fender flares, and labor your still not gonna end up cheap. Honestly I think for the price getting to keep the warranty is worth it to me.

The main thing I guess im looking to know is how people like them and what kinda fuel mileage getting. Also if tey hold up well? smokin sounds like you werent too happy with yours??

I liked it but I traded it pretty quickly for an LMM and I got hurt on the trade in value. Conversions are worth less than a factory truck to a dealer on trade...

I believe it's dealer warranty, not actually GM and those packages are only 3/36,000...

Just checked out Rocky Ridge conversions online direct with their several packages.

I don't plan to trade it n anytime soon. I've already spoken with a dealer about the rocky ridge. They stated that the truck comes with the standard warranty and that the factory GM warranty still applys
