This was a few years back that I drove professionally however I thought there was a kill device on most big rigs, the military had 2 kill switches on thier Vietnam era trucks that I drove back in the late 80's. The switch in the Navy trucks was a crude pull type device that I assumed cut the fuel flow. I am thinking that most of the trucks I drove after the military had them too.
