bigdaddydiesel,
I'm curious why you recommend the Universal Synthetic Transmission fluid rather than the Torque Drive? I know the STF is Dexron VI compatible, but the Torque Drive is TES-295 compatible like the Transynd. I'm not trying to bust your balls; just curious if you know something that I don't. I'm always willing to learn.

BTW, Amsoil is not shipping the Universal Synthetic Transmission Fluid to CA at the present time due to a problem with the label.

I'm curious about this too. Allison is very specific about the TES-295 fluid rating.
TES 295 Approved Fluids: Fluids: Service: Allison Transmission

I don't see Amsoil listed as an approved marketer. Do any of the Amsoil ATF's display the Allison Approved TES295 label???

I personally use Transynd.

Thanks.

Amsoil seems to answer several of my questions here:
https://www.amsoil.com/performancete...drive_q_a.aspx

However, I disagree with several points they make in the article...but hey that's my opinion.

Yeah we have problems all the time with allison not wanting to make warranty claims if they feel that the customer has used fluid other than recommended by them (Allison)

If you search you'll likely find a dealer that will sell Transynd for nearly the same price as Amsoil Torque Drive.

Don't forget there are 6 TES295 approved fluids so you shouldn't look for Transynd only.

I recently found a couple gallons of Syn Tran, really cheap, at a near by John Deere dealership.
