Why is motor oil still so high?

Crude prices are down, gas prices are down, why is motor oil not coming down in price? Wally World still wants $3 per quart for name brand oil. I AM NOT TALKING SYNTHETIC EITHER!!!

I spent all my money!

Hey Jess, how have you been? Not much going on here. So how are you liking EFI Live? I have not had much time lately to play around with it. I have a 110hp tune that Rob did for me that is running pretty good.

I went to buy some oil last night thinking it would be a lot cheaper than it was six month ago. Not the case.

Yes, I have noticed. Diesel here is $2.05 and regular gas is $1.93. Only .12 difference right now. It use to always be about .60 - .70 difference around here.

$2.05? wow, I'd always thought I had it cheaper on this side of the river... maybe I won't fill up in town before I head for Lincoln on Saturday.

We also have a bigger difference in price - $2.12 vs. $1.79, but it keeps getting closer. Makes me laugh at the folks that asked me why I bought a diesel truck vs. a gasser

Ya, I am suprised myself that it is not cheaper on the Iowa side. It usually is. I just looked on Lincoln Gas Prices - Find Cheap Gas Prices in Nebraska and there is a couple of stations that diesel is $1.99 here.
