Depends on what you want and what you want to spend. The best intake to get is probably AFE however id just get the stage I not II there is no need for the $100.00 "torque" tube.

The Hypertech programmer has the best bang for your buck or the PPE.

If you you spend hard earned money on an intake for an 06, there is a better than average chance you will decrease performance.

Intake

The best thing for your truck is to Modify your stock air intake box and you don't need to spend money go to our ppediesel.com and go product manual you can see the instuctions for the modification of air intake. In terms of program it depends on what application, if you are towing, racing or everyday driving.

oh good. Please explain what this modification accomplishes. I would prefer some type of hard data, to qualify any statements.

i did a PPE tuner on my LBZ along with a exhaust and gained roughly 2mpg and then here about 2k miles ago i did the PPE CAI mod and gained another 1 to 2 mpg so it is worth it..the best programmer for the buck is the Diablo or Hypertech but the best is the PPE or EFI Live..

Air Box Modification

This Air intake modification is recommended for maximum performance specially on higher level of tuner which not lower than 180 hp. Basically this modification it gives you more flow of air that pass thru your turbo and which aftermarket air intake mainly concern.

so with just few more mods, you will be into the 30's

do you really expect people to believe that GM left 2 mpg on the table, in restrictive redesign of the intake?

This is total BS, and i have nothing to gain by stating so.

fuel mileage gain

It was based on actual experience. Our tuners do increase fuel economy.
