2008 Duramax Diesel 6.6l problems?

Has anyone ever experienced any type of problem with theirs? If so, what was the problem? Also, are the fuel injectors internal or external? Thanks.

I'm not currently having any problem. I've been looking at them for a while and can get tomorrow and I've just been trying to find out any type of problems with them. I know the old internal injectors leaked fuel if the seals went bad so that's why I wanted to know if they kept them internal. Thanks.

rear axel seal at 5000k but thats the extent of issues i've had, if your looking for fuel mileage either delete the dpf or dont buy a duramax.. haha.

All diesels have DPF's, not just Duramaxs, they are federally mandated.

I have not had any problems at all with anything mechanical in nature. I've only had a problem with the top windshield seal flapping at highway speed. The dealer glued it down, and that's now gone. This has been a great truck!!

No problems yet except for having a DPF still on it.
