A/C Re-Charge

The Compressor on my truck is kicking off and on and I i want to recharge the system/find the leak. What should i load the Low side to (PSI) with the compressor engaged? I must have searched 15 different ways and couldn't find any thing documenting this. I also checked my alldataDIY account and couldn't find any solid number to be at.

Thanks in advance guys.

try buying some refridgerant with stopleak in it...the kits at most auto parts chains have gauges showing where it needs to be

its hard to tell cause the pressures cycle its eaiser just to evacuate the system and put the right amount it.....

but here is a little explination
•Normal readings on high and low side with AC OFF (static pressure) - Depends on outside temperature, but normally is between 80-105 PSI
•Normal low side reading with AC on high speed and MAX & engine at 800-1000 RPM’s - Ranges from 25-35 PSI - Note that on many Chrysler products a normal reading on the low side may be 15-25 PSI
•Normal high side reading ranges from 200-350 PSI

Just low, but purged the system last night cause it was WAY over charged, and it blows colder than a witches tit in there.

Thanks again for the solid numbers for static and running.
