i know this is a duramax diesel site.. but im not quite there yet so i have to make due with what i have. so if any of you have had this problem please tell me about your experience.
me and my dad have a G3500 chevy van. and when we pull our tractor the engine tends to run hot and we do not know why... it has a 6.0L V8 and the 4L80E 4spd automatic.the van has approx 65,000mi. the tractor weighs in at approx 7,000lbs and the trailer we pull it with weighs the same. note it only runs hot when we pull this tractor/trailer combo. so basically i want to know if this is common or its just our vehicle.
