Superdiesel Tierod Sleeves

I recently just bought these for my 03 dmax and I can't put them on myself so i took my truck to les schwab to have them installed and they said that they wouldn't work on my truck. do they just not know what they're doing or has anyone else had this problem?

I would guess they didn't know what they are. I don't have them on my truck but thought they would be pretty straight forward on the install. Try asking a different garage/shop about them maybe they can help you.

They are confused.

Remove tire. Back locknut off a bit and use a hacksaw blade to lightly score the tierod. unscrew tierod nut at the spindle and tap tierod out. Unscrew the tierod end and lock nut(you can count turns, but not needed with the mark you made). Screw the sleeve on and then nut and tierod end. turn the nut past your mark and screw the tierod end right to the mark and reinstall the end into spindle. Tighten up both nuts. Do the other side.

Go try out some high boosted launches. Come back and have a beer while you try and find all the stuff that flew into your back seat from the various cubby holes.

Yes, more BS. All this product does is go over the factory tie rods as you know. Doesn't change anything except make the tierods stronger.
