After reading the new diesel power, I am leaning towards the new super duty. Kinda ugly but performance wise sounds awesome.

Looking for a used new body dmax crew cab gmc or chevy. Like to find one with a lift and a few mods already done if pssible. The one I was looking at just sold

Technically, no they dont. The 6.4 PS has 350hp@3000 RPM and 650 tq @2000 RPM while the LMM has 365hp@3100 RPM and 660 tq @ 1800 RPM.

Although, the numbers are so close that its basically the same. If you had to split hairs then the LMM should have a slight edge on pulling with comparable vehicles based off the hp and torque at the listed RPMs' but gears and transmission type can switch it all around. IMO, both have about the same capabilities and it just comes down to the reliability reputation.

I am pretty open minded and if the PS and the LMM had the other's reported issues, i probably would have a 6.4 but at the time i bought my LMM, with the information i had, i felt the LMM was the better truck. Its not a hp or numbers thing with any of the big 3's diesels to me, but an issue of durability, dependability, and also personal prefrences like looks, interior, etc.

Well i wasn't just focusing on the diesels, they need to bring back that 5.0 and then ill keep my mouth shut, all shos aside of course, wont lie those things are sick.

When I bought my Duramax I had a excursion with the v-10 and I knew nothing about diesels except what I read.I need a truck with more power and reliability. At the time ford had issues with 6' flames and I didnt want to be a Guinea pig How many diesel engines and combinations has ford had? It looked to me they just cant get it right. With the duramax it seemed they only did upgrades ,not complete power plant replacements.Then I started looking at Gas mileage,gm won that and So I decided one night to build a truck online. GM offers more bells and whistles on their trucks So the next day I bought my 2008 GMC 4x4 z71 SLT black truck with everything offered at the time.I have lots freinds all with all makes of diesels They pretty much all rather have my truck . A few broke down and crossed the line buying gms. But opinions are like @-holes.

The 7.3 P S was a great motor. They should have kept that platform and then brought it up to the power level to compete with the competitors each year upgrades to power were made. I suspect if that was the case, i may have a power stroke but, its not the route they chose to take. Anyway, all that aside, i am more than pleased with the LMM and now that i have it, i wouldnt switch to any of the others.

Is the chevy/gmc available with a aux. input for an iPod or is it just line in? Also can you get it with a factory subwoofer like the ford?

All you have to do is decide which is better...to be on the side of the road,broke down in a luxury truck OR going down the rode being pulled by a Chevy/GMC...

My truck has the BOSE C/D am, fm,xm, and navagation with the rear enternament screen with the sliding sun roof .Cant get all three on a ford at once .It has a aux spot on the stereo that I use for my I wifes pod and a/v inputs in the rear that i use for my sons video games. We use the ps2 because it is the cheapest and smallest. I did have to get an inverter for 20$ for the power supply.I dont know about any factor subs.
