deisel secret energy problem

2007 GMC 6.6 d-max running for 8 weeks just started to smoke excessive when floored ,code displayed (low fuel rail pressure) changed back to deisel drained all oil out installed new fuel filter added LUCAS FUEL INJECTOR CONDITIONER to fresh tank still smoking ,with more ticking noise then usual,debating taking in for service but don,t want to spend uncessary money but don,t want to drive my truck and make worse if something is really wrong ,any advise welcome,prior to this fuel venture i love this truck and duramax with the allison tranny

:i think this DEISEL SECRET ENERGY FUEL is not worth the questionable problem i now expercieiring

IMO. I would just run a few fresh tanks of fuel in it with a good additive like staydine ,or power service and see if it helps.

Take it in, have service tech have look at it. Your truck is still covered by warranty...or is it not?

DSE is to blame for the problems. See DSE is snake oil. It gums everything up and it cant be remove unless you take it apart. You have to heat WVO, there is no magical chemicals to run WVO.

I would not mention it to the dealer and tell them your are only running diesel or they wont fix it for free.

I ran that stuff for a summer and in the fall I had a couple thousand dollar repair for all new injectors and an IP.

Diesel Secret is positively junk!!! I got caught up in it and had trouble also. Lucky for me I noticed it right a way and got it flushed out.

Ehhh you probably screwed up the injectors. Did pull the dipstick and check the oil lately? If diesel fuel gets in your oil and can cause serious harm. IMO Id take it to the dealer and would NOT mention the diesel secret. If it did harm the injectors then they should be replaced under warranty

Diesel secret is a secret for a reason,,they'd prefer you not know what the hell it is..JUNK!!!Injector Killer,this may work with an old tractor or something,but when experimenting with modern tech can come with a hefty price tag,,pay 2 play.

response about DESIEL SECRET i just took my truck in today and they have called me and tell me the fuel filter needs changed and flush the fuel tank , I have changed the filter four times in the past three weeks and the last it took the truck a long time to crank even though i primed the fuel filter i think the fuel pump has been under a lot of stress running the snake oil even though i thinned it three times the recommend amount.Definitely don,t advise any body try this SECRET>

Yeah,nobody fool with this stuff,if you look into it they sell it out of a hole in the wall warehouse in Sunset,La. Actually a few miles from where I live.I've heard nothing good about em,definitly TRASH!!
