I have been told that the 2007 and newer Duramax OBC stores and holds the information that they were reprogramed . Anybody know if this is true?

I wonder if they would hassle over a Superchip flashpaq,I just got it.300 dollars and it's fine for me,I really like the perf setting,dig the smoke when I flog it!!

if they think the tuner is a safer one some dealers let it slide depends dealer tho

Thanks for reply..Would you think they are more relaxed on the bigger brand names or not? Jus a thought,I know final say on repair if discovered is up to dealer or service manager??

Not really they look at what the companies do tuning wise. such as superchips,banks hypertech. Thoase are know to be very safe abd not 350 hp. I think the dealer would void in instant if they thought you were running a big power tuner such as ppe hot quad race of anything made just to hot rod

It is not up to the dealer. They can try to help you out but the final say comes from the area rep. After that, you must go above their head. Follow my thread(Blown Engine) and you will get a schooling.

This is the first time I've read that programmers can be detected on the LLY/LBZ engine.
Is it detected via a direct utility, or indirectly, as in the start counter?
