Exhaust Help for 2008

I am purchasing my first Duramax. The dealer I'm purchasing through is uneasy about installing a simple filter back exhaust system. Does anyone have any info from GM or links that woul dhelp educate the dealer so they are comfortable installing this for me?

You should be aloud to d dpf back becuase its leaves all emission components in tact, so he would have to honor warranty. The dpf system is purely looks tho you see no benefits from it.
