how long does the warranty last?

I have an 08 lmm. It has 72,000 miles on it. I just got this truck from my dad and wanted to know how long the warranty last on any kind of motor parts? I know powertrain warranty is 100,000 but is the motor under warranty for that long also?

Another question, Do they have to prove that a programmer or any kind of mods was the cause of the problem? Or do these things automatically void the warranty

the answer to that question is very very convoluted.

short answer; Yes.

realistic answer; it depends on what's wrong.

I had my 08 LMM in for servicing - I mentioned that I wanted to add capacity via transmission deep pan (and filter) and go to a larger capacity rear end cover. I was told this would void the warranty - I don't understand that comment - has anyone else run into this sort of thing that the warranty was actually voided due to larger capacities? seems wrong.
