Black bowtie?

I've seen a couple truck around town and a few on this site that have a black bowtie on the grill. Did you guys just paint yours or did you order a new one that was already black?

Go for it!!!!!!!

I painted mine. The gold was starting to chip. I think it looks a lot better. Some masking tape, newspaper, and some black paint sould do the trick. Oh also don't forget to use some 600 grit wet sand paper. And you sould be good. Let me know how it goes.

Me and my dad did it and it took a total of about 30 minutes and looks 100% better. I did it right after the gold started pealling.
