ok so this guy that i work with has a corvette probably like a 1970 or so and i told him i would race him but he has to give me a year to get my truck fixed up he said he runs like in the high 13's low 14's. what do i need to put in my truck to smoke him?i really want to blow him out of the water but idk if i can with a six inch lift and 35's. just looking for some ideas. thanks
EFI LIVE tuned my McRat, Suncoast stage 4, PPE lift pump, Turbo back exhaust modded or aftermarket intake and you should be good to go.

psyco perty much summed it up,those mods will get you a mid 13's and you will need a built tranny,also loose the 35" tires..i just took out a 05-06 6.0L GTO so it is possible.

ya its very possible, just hope you got REAL deep pockets!!! you'll need several thousand $$$ to get it to whoop him. Might add some tie rod braces in there too so you keep both tires pointed the same direction after that first boosted 4wd launch!!
you can do it with a ppe hot+2 also, lift pump trans and exhaust, like everyone else said. And tie rod sleeve as also stated

you need to watch out for sleepers. my buddy has a lingenfelter corvette that looks plain but has 650 hp and runs 10's on street tires
