So my friend has an 02 LB7 with a 4 inch straight pipe and a K&N CAI and when its at idle it idles wierd and it puffs out white smoke but i don't think its an injector problem...what else could it be? any ideas will help...thanks

Injector...have the dealer do a balance rate on the injectors and i can almost guarantee you there is a injector bad..also tell him to get rid of the K&N filter because there is a small chance his turbo is going but i would blame the injectors firsts.

My Truck now,1987 Chevy 2500 350 tweaked,6" SuperLift,350 V8 bored 60 over,Elderbrock headers Cam and Titanium Rockers,750 Twin Pumped Holley Carb and some other goodies.crank dynos over 400HP.

Why get rid of the K&N? I've heard a lot of bad things about the K&N, but I still don't understand how it is different than a lot of the other filters that you have to clean and oil.

they say the fiber in the material are to big , but im not sure i really agree ,, but why take the chance , just take the advice from some who have experience with it

i have never done a research on them myself but for the research done between brands the K&N filters on a turbo engine took one of the last slotts.i'll see if i cant find that again.
