questions about a tune up

I have an 04 duramax crew/dually/4x4 - I put on an aftermarket exhaust from banks and a K&N aur filter. I have had no problems so far, but I have recently noticed more soot coming from my exhaust that had not been there before. The exhaust has been on from about 30,000 miles and it now has 135,000 miles.

Any ideas on what would start this to happen ? and what I can do to fix it ?

Thanks

Hmm ya the fuel filter and a fuel additive might help as well.

Might also be time for some spark plugs and wires

Its usually best to pick them up at the autoparts store. They have different varietys depending on wher you go. You'd think by now someone would of come up with some high performance plugs n wires

The person who comes up with a good set of plug and wires that will give a meaningful boost to a Dmax will be a wealthy person indeed. Pretty inventive as well.
