Dont spin your truck in 4wd. Dont drive your truck in 4wd on pavement. Doing these two things will "fix" your truck rather inexpensively. oy yeah, do some research on how a front differential works in a 4wd vehicle.

x2....Very bad to spin in 4wd, I can't belive you haven't broke anything yet.

The front end is an open diff, so no locker like the rear end. Only one wheel peel, transfers power to the tire with the least amount of traction.

You should be running the 4wd only when at the straight track, not the circle track!

Im Not Stupid. Im Drag Racing I Know People Are Launching Their Trucks In 4 Wheel Drive I Was Just Wondering How They Are Getting Away With It. Same As Guys Pulling With Chevy's They Have To Be Doing Something To The Front Ends. So If You Dont Have A Helpfull Suggestion Keep Your Comments To Your Selfs

They have upgrades! Front end HD Tie Rods or Sleeves on them. Aftermarket Half-Shafts and adding an Eaton E-Locker would really help.

The front end is more than strong enough to handle it with some aftermarket parts. I would go with some Cognito or Fabtech HD Tie Rods, Cognito Upper A-Arms (w/Uniball), Pitman Idler arm support kit, and last but not least Henderson's Idler Arm Body. Once all that or for the most part the Tie Rods and Support kit are done then you could add the E-Locker from Eaton that you can control electronicaly from in the cab. Then you could always upgrade the half shafts with some from RCV Performance.

You would then have a setup just as strong if not stronger than a modified Dana 60...

Hope this helps, sorry for being so rough.

alright lameman, how the f@#$ was anyone supposed to know you were drag racing. First off, wrong forum, second, YOU said street, NOT strip, third, no info, just "how do I fix sh&% that aint broke." I would think if you were racing your truck you would have all the information before hand. Maybe this is a case of more money than brains....
