Talking First Truck Pull.

Alright guys I just bought my first DMax about 2 months ago and will be entering my first truck pull this friday. I am looking for some pointers on pulling with a diesel. Do I run 4 low or 4 high and put the tow haul on or what anything would help. Thanks guys and I love my DMax.

4 low, tow haul mode, and get some tie rod sleeves or you won't pull very far.

Skip this pull if u dont have tire rod sleeves get them and enter next. 4 low and and tow haul will be fine. What kinda mods is done to your truck?? Run second gear 4 low possible 3rd gear if u got the power for 3rd. What size tires are on the truck. block the rear end and clamp the springs and drop torsion bars to the ground

I'm running a Banks 6 Gun with 4" straight, 6" lift with 315 pro comps on it. What do the tie rod sleeves do?

They keep this from happening:

When launching in 4wd, sled pulling, or extreme offroading the stock tie rod tend to fail and break.

I'll have to take a look at the truck tonight to see how the tie rods look Im not too sure if they where replaced or not when the lift was put in I bought it with the lift already in it. Can I get sleeves from my local parts store that will hold up or where should I order them from?

What do you mean by blocking the rear up?
