check engine

My check engine light has been comong on very often recently, mainly while towing, one time on hard acceleration. When I read my codes with the bully dog programer I get the usual egr code and a 0067 and 0461.

Before it only happened when pulling heavy up hill (crossed scale at 21,000 pounds) then one time last week leaving hard from a light. Now on this trip out to seattle, small enclosed trailer, with one yamaha stratoliner, a vstar, and a harley 1300 sportster. There were time it would go into limp mode immediatly after resetting.

the LBZ with a programmer has a hard time mantianing fuel rail pressure so if it continues i would do a FRPV Shim Kit and also lift pumps to help out with fuel delivery..

The thing is, I do not run my truck hard, except on the occasional stop light but that is very rare. This all happens While cruise is set, at 70mph, going uphill, pulling a trailer.

I have a 06 2500HD (stock-- no mods) and my check engine light just came on
had it checked...the code was P0403 which I "was told was the EGR". I'm lost on this whole thing. Can I fix it ? fuel filter is at 83% ...... oil life is at 45%. no pulling---towing
just drive 40 miles 1 way to work.... most I-95.

sheriff, the P0403 is cause by having a straight pipe on it so the only way to fix that is buying the fingerstick from Kennedy Diesel or most programmers will disable the EGR..

i would have the Fuel Regulator or the Fuel Rail Valve Checked to make sure it isn't weak because if it is then that could easily be the problem and that should be under warranty.
