High miles would be 200000-300000. 29k is nothing for a diesel.

I guess trucks do get used much more differently and in a more broad spectrum of usage.

usually for cars I go for 10-12K a year as a max, so I didnt know

the LBZ in my Sig has over a 100,000 miles and a friend of mine bought a 07 Classic Dually last fall and has 90,000 miles on his so anything under 100,000 miles is low miles in my book and high miles is over 250,000 miles.

Diesels require a different way of thinking.

A typical gas powered vehicle is considered to have high mileage at 100k or more than 15k a year.

A typical diesel powered vehicle is considered to have high mileage at 250-300,000.

But, just because it has a lot of miles does not mean its going to need endless repairs. It just means that you may want to replace all your filters. With a gas engine, you have to worry about timing belts, plugs, wires, transmission, and 100's of other things.

I currently have 200,000 on mine and no major problems yet. I had a 2000 gmc extended cargo van 2500 with the 5.7, allways ran mobil 1 synthetic, and it is currently around 420,000 with the most major repair being a distributer,
