What I hate about ricers is that they are a pain in the a to pull out my grill and from under my 3500 It really pisses the little a holes off when I flip my EFI over to the #4 sitting and leave them using their wipers to get the burnt rubber and asphalt off. The ones I really love are the little groups of 2-4 that ride around in some kind of formation(Kind of like a scene in "Cars") and try to block the hwy. I just flash my lights hit the air horn and drive up on their ass, they either move or get ran over. The clowns around here get out of my way because they know I don't give a moon

If you can afford a DMAX you can afford an Acura... Acura TL starts at 33k, same as a stripped 2500 w/Dmax.
I bought a two yr old BMW w/20k miles for the same price as a 2008 base model ford focus. Luxory cars are more affordable than most people think...

Hard to beat a duramax, but if I wanted a car I'd buy a V6 Honda/acura/toyota/nissan 100 to 1 over GM or fords shit. You simply cant beat their efficiency and longevity. Look at nissan for power, their new GTR is only 80K or so and is embarrassing cars two to three times its price. Examples- twin turbo porsche, viper, Z06, and ferraris. Bone stock this thing is destroying pretty much everything on the road in pretty much every category, 0-60 in 3.2 seconds aint bad for a ricer... a little extra boost and that thing is a monster. Not starting a war here, just giving props where its due. Here's a really old clip of some GTR's in Japan.

In general, Japan is several years ahead of us in technology, automobiles included. The RL (ricer) from the first post in this thread is easily one of the safest cars on the road. Having said all that I'd much rather have my duramax, a few mods and its got plenty of power and I feel pretty damn safe with ~7000 pounds of steel around me

I have always wanted to sqash a ricer... If it wasn't for the fact I would probably go to the gray-bar-hotel and my insurence would have to take care of it I probably would have by now.

I am sure someone has done it though.

I hate it when a ricer pulls up behind me with the base boomin so bad there trunk lid is about to fall off. Then they get a eye full of soot as I sit there and boost it up and give them a dusting. Or I'll hang my head out the window and hold my hand up to my ear and Nail my throttle and let'er eat!

Nothing I'd like more than to get a big nasty bumper for the front of my truck so if the need arises I can just splatter some 8 foot wing'd coffee can for an exhaust pimple faced rice. Anybody got the line on a mean bumper?
