jd power is wrong

since im in the market for a new truck i tried jd power for once
i looked at both gmc and chevy 2500hd and the gmc got 1/2 circle better under reliability? is it any different besides the body/wheel wells?

Way back in the day,the GMC was a lil more spruced with options IIRC..But today,I think they just put the bolts a lil tighter on the GMC's...

I don't know what the difference is but my entire family had better luck with GMC's than Chevrolet's. I guess that it just how it plays out.

I wanted the GM so I didn't look a distance. I have several friends that went with the Chevy because of the same reason. Its all personal preference. The trucks are basically the same, Just a little trim and different badging. But if you buy a Chevy over a GMC and it breaks ill have to say I told you so.

When I bought my GMC it had more items as standard equipment than the Chevy did.

Option packages were alittle better for the GMC. I think it comes down to what look you like.

At least that's what the salesperson said...Sales folks love to tell you how you're getting so much more in whatever they are selling. When I purchased mine I was told that GMC and Chevy are the same price when loaded with the same options.

I have owned both GMC and Chevy...I prefer the GMC. I think the seats are a little nicer, but that's probably all in my head...I just like the GMC's body style better.
