Nature lovers! What is this?

I know its a moth, but what kind? And its almost 4 inches long with a 6" wingspan!! Just now took a picture, 1023pm.

I was sitting here, watching street racing videos off this cool site I found, and I hear this "thunk, thunk, thunk" from the glass door. So I glance over and see this freakin bird like creature ramming its body into the glass. So I grabbed my camera and took a picture.

Your not crazy those things are here to! I was at work a few weeks ago and one was klinging to the window in my moms office! Then the other day I found one dead on the shop floor...... Of course one of my co-workers is affraid of weird insects. So for about 5 minutes I was chasing him with the thing... Through the parking lot, garage, lot, garage

That is one big moth I am not so sure I would like that at my house. How do you kill it??? Shotgun??

Here's another! Frame of reference: That strap is about 3 1/2 inches. I never found out what it was. Anybody have any idea?
