How easy is it to talk edge into giving a refund? I think I want EFI Live now.

Mine never worked right.I bought through local perf shop,after calling Edge and giving them the version numbers to see if the monitor and module were compatible.Edge was real patient and all,but the last straw was when he called me,had me drive and to pickup a ''new'' one,then it was the WRONG oneEdge sent an Evolution.[I know nothing about/but I hear is similar]I paid cash,so getting my money back was not a problem.Edge is aware of the problems they have too.Not trying to hurt Edge rep at all,but I had a bad experience,so the next tuning tool I buy will be the final one.P.M. me for a list of what NOT to buy,as I have tried 3 different tuners...The power was real good with Edge,I just paid over 700 bucks and expected the system to work like they advertised.I know things can happen,I just was tired of messing around with something that worked when it wanted toThe monitor's only real function was a cool blue light on my dash!![NOT even half the functions that could be monitored would should show on monitor].Some people love their Edge,but I did n't care for mine.I did not try another one,I just got my $$ back before my truck got fouled up...IMO,that's what was going to happen if I kept this system on.I prob miss the turbo timer the most,it was really cool to walk away and have it shutdown..

IMHO you would be better off going with EFI live and buy it from one of the great Dmax tuners such as Idaho Rob and tune your truck and tranny the way you want it. If you trucks shuts down at 92 it doesn't sound like your speedo is registering correctly either. IIRC the speed limiter is set at 95 stock.

I doubt you can return edge to easy if it works fine and you have had over a month.

yes, you can load the predator to just say raise the top speed limiter and still use the edge on your truck. Just be careful...having more power is addicting...I run a predator and a TST powermaxx on my truck. Keep you power levels around 90-100 hp over stock until you build your tranny...just a shift kit will not help much to hold the extra power.

I have a Hypertech programmer on my 2003, purchased it in 2004, and its been awhile since I have messed with it. I don't remember seeing any info. or instructions other then HP/Torque on it.

When I changed tire size I used pie for the first time since Jr. High school to get the right settings, but do not remember anything on this subject.

Where would I look for this type of info.
