Hey everyone new to the forums and I wanted to say hello. Unfortunately my introduction comes with a problem I am having and hopefully someone has had the same issue and knows of the fix.

I have a 2005 3500 Dually CC LB about 45k miles.
Banks 6 gun tuner with air filter and cat back exhaust

When ever I hit a decent size puddle of water my AC goes out.

Anyone have any ideas? or experieinced this issue before?

do you think it might have to do with the 6 gun module getting wet?

first off welcome to the forum...
first things first uninstall the banks and see what happens.

That was my first thought but I just wanted to make sure no one else has had this issue before. w or w/o the banks.

never heard of this probklem before but i have heard of the banks causing wierd problems.

Just out of curisoity what problems have you heard of?

sevaral of the more popular ones are,truck starting hard or not starting at all and i know of 2 cases where it destroyed the ECM completely,mostly just eletronical problems or causing the gauges to act wierd.i'm not all of the problems that i hear of are caused by the Banks but it makes you wonder when you unistall the Banks and no more problems..Banks isn't the only one that has caused problems like this either.
for the most part Banks has a very good reputation so take this for what it's worth.

Welcome to the site!! I agree try it without the banks first, if you take it to the dealer that is the first thing they will do anyway.

If it is not the banks then check out the pressure switch on the condenser and then the one on the evaporator. You could have a loose connection on one of the two sensors causing the system to quit cooling. Or I could ask if its just the fan that quits or if it quits cooling.
