COngrats and o no you going to have to go pick up a second truck lol. I was dealing with a customer from Canada, and he and his dealer were working together to do a DPF delete, so they could see mileage benefits so maybe you will get lucky to.

I just want to know how you got 20 grand off the sticker price? I paid 62K for mine. I wish I could have saved 20K my payments could have been below $1000. Jealous.

Dale with a combination of the GM rebates and my work rebate that is how I got such a good deal. I most likely would not have got it is my payments were above a grand. Mine are sitting a $832 with L@D on my loan.........more money to mod LOL.

Well so far so good, I am really enjoying the new truck compare to the old one and dodge 1500. I am seeing about 13.3mpg for the first tank of fuel city driving. I think that is is a fair # considering it is the first tank and my dodge was getting 9mpg for the same type of driving and just about the same tank size. I did find these
Eagle Alloy Wheels
along with some other goodies that I will be killed for. Just trying to decide what tires to run. I am use to running Toyo Open Country MT's which are over kill for my now city driving, but I love the looks of them LOL. Maybe I will go less aggressive or maybe a bit more LOL
I was thinking the TRXsUS in the STS in a 33x12.50R17LT scroll to the bottom TrXus MT / STS :: Interco Tire
size any thoughts??

Instead of starting a new thread I will just add to this one. I have just over 500 miles on the new LMM and I have to say I am quite happy with it so far. There are a few things however that could use a bit of attention. The reception on the XM sat radio is the pits compared to the wifes Sirius, the overhead lighting consol does not see to be a nice tight fit, the front wheels have next to no clearance at a full turn on the inner fenders and lastly the 7pin trailer wiring has a faulty LH turn and does not seem to make connection.

On the other hand I will NEVER og back to a gasser to pull a trailer. I pulled my bumper trailer this weekend 8000lbs to a location I pulled in the past. I would have to be doing 115km/h at the bottom and be doign 70km/h at the top. With the new LMM I got behind slow trafic and was doign 60Km/h at the bottom and 110km/h at the top. Without any effort at all. I mean I knew there was a differance but this was night and day. My mileage in the city is 12.6MPG and towing on the highway it went to 12.5mpg. That seems fair for now, I have to start adding soem parts it is killing me LOL.

well i can tell you why the xm sucks so bad for you. xm only has two sattellites vs sirius' 3 sats. both of xm's sat's are close to the equator, so for someone like you who is way up north, it doesnt take a whole lot to block your signal.

Here in nebraska its bad enough that if i'm stopped with a single three story building directly to the south of me it will cut out til i move out from behind it. So im sure a small hill will take out your signal!!

I have a lot of dead space in the mountians with my XM as well. Not sure it's worth it. Sounds like you are enjoying your truck, ever want to up that mileage to 18+ give Idaho Rob at Adrenline Truck Performance a call. Number is 208-484-3670. He can fix you up with a tune from EFI live that will work well and get you 3-4 additional miles per gallon. If you really want performance add a set of twins.
