Tie Rod Question?

Alright I am trying to figure out whether I have stock tie rods on my truck or not is there any way to tell. It has a 6" procomp lift. Can you tell by the thickness or anything? What are the thicknesses on some of your tie rods?

I don't have the size of mine right now, but it would be my guess that they are still the factory tie rods. Most lifts don't come with HD tie rods unless you ask for them. Here is a link to a tie rod sleeve install that has some pics that may help you: How to Install Tie Rod Sleeves

Ya I agreee with BRC. IIRC the stock tie rod is about 1/2 inch across. Probably about the same size as a sharpie. There are 3 things it could be. Stock, stock and sleeved, or a aftermarket HD tie rod.

Heres a pic of mine sleeved... A HD tie rod the head where the ball joint goes into the spindle is twice the size of stock

IIRC the tie rods are 14mm or roughly 1/2 inch round!
