Quiet Stacks

Ok, for 2007 Grand Rock is looking at offering our QP muffler inserts for the stacks in our stack kits. These mufflers have done very well with the Class 7 and 8 trucks, with keeping noise levels down, helping with fuel milaged, and also some with performance. Now the question is, how many of you would use these inserts? They would definatly quite the exhaust, which many wifes would like, but when you get on them really sound throaty and mean. So we are looking for some feed back, what do you all think?

Yes, they will fit in you stacks, depending on which ones you have. If they are 4" or 5", they will slide in on any stack. BUT if you have 6" or 7" stacks, you will need to have miter or straight cut stacks. Since our 6" and 7" stacks reduce down to 5". You will need to drill 2 mounting holes in the stacks, and bolt the inserts in, other wise you take a chance of blowin' em out the top will all that HP you guys got! Seariously though, you will need to bolt them in to stop any type of rattling.

Well as long as you 6" miters, or straight cuts.....they will slide in from the top. They are big enough to slide into the stack and will fill the stacks. Cost is still unsure.....but the one thing I do know, you will buy them in pairs......so....
