| Didn't make the graveyard but close Back in 03 hurricane remnants placed this tree on my 01 GMC Dmax. $11,500 later it was back on the road. Some here probably remember. ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() I asked the body shop if they could come up with something to "spice" it up a little. Here's what they came up with... |

| the exhaust, im not a fan of that. looks like if you got out of the passenger door with shorts on you could burn your leg. it would be cooler if you just took the tip off

| I ended up with the exhaust that way because the six year old pipe broke apart after the muffler. This was a quick temporary fix that I ended up liking. Believe it or not the truck is significantly quieter inside now... especially at highway speeds. It's a little louder outside but I like that just fine. With the passenger window down I can really hear the turbo singing... which I just love! The pipe is far enough back to not be an issue with anything. I've grown to really like it there. It's a little obnoxious.... just enough. The whirring whistle that comes out of that tip is awesome. ![]() Last edited by hoot method; 10-05-2012 at 12:59 PM. |

| Maybe not exactly how I'd have fixed it but to each their own I guess. Not bad looking... for a Dodge. Also, I noticed you have a pretty impressive invisiload behind that thing.
