| Holly Fuel pump and cat filter DIY This is my first DIY so bear with me. I am going to show ya all how I installed my Holly pump and added pre and post filters. <a href="http://s1283.beta.photobucket.com/user/hvactech08/library/" target="_blank"><img src="http://i1283.photobucket.com/albums/a550/hvactech08/DSCN2486.jpg" border="0" alt="Photobucket"/></a> Here is the parts list. I may have forgotten a few small parts but should be a complte list Summit racing parts 1. HLY-12-150 FUEL PUMP The actual pump 2. 2- SUM-2200078B ½ compression fitting -8an male 3. 2-SUM-220847B ½ npt male to -8an male 4. 2- SUM-220890B -8an female to -8an hose 5. SUM-230806S.S. 6of -8an hose (stainless steel braided) 6. SUM-890023 Fuel pump relay kit, comes with circuit breaker and small piece one might need Napa Parts 2- FIL 4770 filter head Filters needed 1 - Cat 1r-0750 1 - Cat 175-2949 or fs1212(fleet guard) Lowes 2- ½ 90 4- ½ barb to ½ npt 2- 3/890* to ½ 2 ½ fuel hose 4 hose clamps 1. <a href="http://s1283.beta.photobucket.com/user/hvactech08/library/" target="_blank"><img src="http://i1283.photobucket.com/albums/a550/hvactech08/DSCN2480.jpg" border="0" alt="Photobucket"/></a> I started off and mounted the filter heads and pump on a bracket I fabd up. Then I used brass 90* to a barb fitting to hook up the pump and the two filter heads. I have a pre and post filter head because the water separation filter works better on a vacumm side. I mounted this all on the drivers side under the door, only place I could mount since I am a reg cab. The left filter in on the pressure side of the pump and right is coming from the tank. 2. <a href="http://s1283.beta.photobucket.com/user/hvactech08/library/" target="_blank"><img src="http://i1283.photobucket.com/albums/a550/hvactech08/DSCN2481.jpg" border="0" alt="Photobucket"/></a> Next I installed the regulator on the outlet of the filter housing mounted parrell to the ground. 3. <a href="http://s1283.beta.photobucket.com/user/hvactech08/library/" target="_blank"><img src="http://i1283.photobucket.com/albums/a550/hvactech08/DSCN2483.jpg" border="0" alt="Photobucket"/></a> Now you can run the pressure side hose to a convient spot, I believe each cab confiuration has a litle bit differt fuel line routing. Any way I cut the ½ line and used the compresion fitting to female -8an piece. I made the cut close to the tranny(zf6). I had to remoze a few brackets to get my tubbing cutter in there. Just find a place that will work good for your exact set up. 4. <a href="http://s1283.beta.photobucket.com/user/hvactech08/library/" target="_blank"><img src="http://i1283.photobucket.com/albums/a550/hvactech08/DSCN2484.jpg" border="0" alt="Photobucket"/></a> This is where I was able to instal the other compression fitting. This is the line coming from the tank to the right filter housing. Like stated above just find a convient place to install. Make certin also that the compression fitting is very tight! I had to redo that fitting cause it was dripping slowly. I dont have any pics of me makin the hoses and installing the an fitting to the hose, it can be a pain but if you havent done it before just look it up on youtube and it will walk you through the process.

| Just make sure you use Teflon paste on all fittings and that all the AN fittings are super tight!!

| Thanks man for the write-up.This is a great inexpensive way to add filtration/water separation without spending the big bucks on an Airdog.Thumbs up for including all the part #s as well.

| Yes the pump is quite. only canhear it run if the door is open and waiting to start.
