Had this made at the local speed shop, it works the same way as it would if the factory hose was still in place, but the oily air comes out of the heads, goes into the canister(there is a splitter in the middle of the can), then just air goes back to the intake with no oil!

Wow that seems like a good idea! Do you have to drain it? How mutch did that run?

Yeah, i used to do this on my turbo car, but i figured what the hay ill do it to the diesel! You do have to drain it but only like every 6 months, i was gonna have a drain cock put on but decided not to, it cost me about 130 to have it made

has anyone ever given any thought to what effect vacuum applied to a crankcase does?
All these open pvc reroutes and no one has ever given any thought to theory?

Check out drag car engines, F-1, IRL....you wont find them running their crankcases open to the atmosphere....and I wonder why that would be???

the catch can like the OP has shown is the "CORRECT" way to avoid oil in the intake system
