put some red locktite on the wing nut then run a nylock down on top of it with some more red locktite. Problem solved as far as it coming apart or ever getting it out for that matter!!!
+1 same here

There are a ton of these threads on this site for how to block off that resonator. Everybody on here has their own personal way of doing it, with a constant of using a Jimmy Cap, test plug, or rubber bushing. I went and bought one of these test plugs at Pep Boys, and I found that it was just a tad bit too big to fit in the MP. I played around and found out that it fits into the resonator itself, though. I actually like that its too big for the MP, because that eliminates it falling down inside with the turbo. Right now the the nut is the only thing that could fall in there, but its got me thinking how to make this better.
My question is, why are we all trying to fit something into the MP hole where you have a possibility of something falling in, and not trying to figure out a way to just block of the resonator.
Right now I'm messing around with ideas with what you could use at Lowe's and Home Depot.

i went to home depot today to buy the plug for my air intake resinator to delete the box. and neither them or lowes carried such a thing they told me i would have to go to a plumbing specialty store and being saturday they wouldn't likely be open until monday. but i did find a rubber 2" cap with a hose clamp that has managed to do the job just fine. it appears to be sealing off 100% but i do believe the plug is the safest way to go. which i will most likely do at the first opportunity i get to make it to the plumbing store. i'm going to try and load a photo to this post but i'm new and i'm not sure if my membership i have will permit me to do it.
thats the only way i do them
