Post up some pics of your traction bars please. Whether you made them or bought them.
I am gonna make my own tomorrow I just want some ideas of how they are supposed to be mounted to the frame and the axle. I really don't have much of an idea, never seen them in person.
Thanks for any help
Mike

For racing the traction bars should be pointing up higher than the centerline of the truck to push the rear up and the front down(anti-squat) This helps plant the front tires(4x4 only).
The way shown above may be good for pulling(I'm not a puller), but not for the drag strip. That way the rear is trying to lift the front, not press it down.
Look into some software describing centerline/anti-squat/suspension. This will show you the way Mike.

so if i want to minimize axle wrap in sand or dirt when rear wheels slip i would need a bar that transfers pressure to rear axle thus lift towards front axle? i am guessing the caltracts accomplishes this? i hate that chattering...pisses me off. is a set of caltracts the best way to lessen this?
