Filter base seeping on top

Click this link because this was my post a few weeks ago. Is this where it is leaking? This is the connection to the fuel heater.

The picture is a base from an LB7. Within this thread is where I bought mine because you may find that the LB7 bases are back ordered at the dealer. This is the case in Nor Cal as late as last weekend. This may have changed though so don't quote me..

That's it - it runs out like crazy when I push the primer with the bleed plug in. I guess with the truck sitting for a week it lost its prime and only ran for about 10 secs when I started it today. I'm just going to put some epoxy at the base of the plastic pipe and cross my fingers!

If the temporary fix works post it. Just don't rely on that as a perm fix though.

What did that connection look like from inside after you took the old housing off? What might be causing these things to leak suddenly?

The fitting was pressed into the housing. It was not cracked or anything just slightly loose.

Yeah, mine wiggles noticeably from the outside. Seems like it might be somewhat under-engineered?
