Hey redbowties how did u straight pipe the 3 1/2? im thinking about doing that too for the meantime

oh lol...well i got a mbrp cat delete pipe which is just over like 100 bucks...installed that then sawzalled out the muffler lol....i just installed a turn down there but must guys get some flex-a-pipe and run it where the muffler used to be

on the stright piping the stock exhaust, u can just buy a pipe from your steel store then put it on. but sometimes u have to have to change some of your hangers so that your tail pipe dont sag

only prob you're gonna have is that is a straight piece of pipe wont really work becuase the muffler input/output is offset

I straight piped my stock exhaust before replacing it w/ the mbrp 4" stuff. A straight piece will work, just cut your angles on the end and weld it in place. Make some marks and mental notes where the exhaust is when the muffler is inplace, then cut it out and add the straight piece. Takes a little fab work but much cheaper than a system(and looks sneeky too). I still have mine laying around, I will post a picture later if you want. Hope this helps.

just use flex pipe it will work fine
