Not as helpful as I thought it would be. Forgot I stole the tailpipe for another project. Here you go anyway.

I did the same thing with my stock 3.5". Except....I had a muffler shop nice enough ( ) to cut the muffler and cat. out and weld a piece of pipe back in place and check all the hangers to make sure it was all intact and supported well. All for only $60!! Not a bad straight pipe deal IMO.....
Edit: Forgot to add the fact that it sounds awesome now! Love the turbo whine now and when you get on it......big smile on your face!
