EGR block off plate lly

I have a predator tuner, and I currently have my egr turned off. My question is, should I still buy an egr block off plate or am I wasting my time/money? Thanks

i believe you still need one. all it does when you block the egr on the tuner is block codes that will pop up when you put the plate in......i think haha

i have a 05 also. did you have problems with codes when you put your straight pipes on?

No, I just ordered a 3.5" section of pipe from jegs, some new sawzall blades and broke out my little miller. Cant afford a good exhaust system yet but its on my wishlist.
