02 LB7 window stuck help!!!

Back drivers side window was down with people in back seat. Riding back back window would go up 3-4 inches and stop. Roll back down and up but just stop. Pushed button and pulled up hard on window but would just stop.

my front passenger side window did the same thing, rolled it down 4-6 inches and now it won't budge, we had two people pulling up on it and it didn't move a bit. i'm planning on replacing the motor in the window when i get back to it after new years, let me know if changing the motor works for you

Held switch up and pulled hard, went up few inches. Just read on google people soaking the switches in rubbing alcohol, saying the contact surface just gets dirty???? About to try this. Any ideas?

use your ears... listen when you try and roll up the window if it makes a noise window regulator.. dont worry pulling the door panel is easy. most the time it can be done with a 1/4 drive set of sockets a Philips head screw driver and a flat head

Aight thanks fellas. Had to just cut one of cables on regulator to pull window back up, it wouldnt budge until i cut it. Got it tapped up until the new regulator and motor comes in.

Common problem, especially in GMs. Both front regs just went out in the old lady's Buick. That'll be fun.
