hvac fan switch bulb out

hey guys I have an 06 LT fully loaded, my hvac (digital display) fan up and down bulb is burned out. Has been like that since I bought the truck, how do I fix? Is it simple bulb replacement or is soldering needed? I looked and all I could find was led swap on gauge cluster stuff. thanks

No worries. Ive never done one with the digital hvac. but it doesnt look like its any harder then the slider style. If you are wanting to retain the factory color you can just get a white bulb

so buy a new climate control unit if soldering in new bulbs is THAT big a deal. You can find them on ebay for $40 or so.

I paid $80 to replace the first one i ed up on chads truck. lol
