subwoofers

Whats the difference of the bass quality between 2 10'' subs compared to 2 12'' subs? and what brands are good (dont want it to blow up on me a month later) but also good on the wallet?

bigger the sub more air it pushes= more bass plain and simple. If you go with a name brand you cant go wrong. JL, kicker, mtx and so on

You can get a high low converter and hook an amp to the stock speakers. I have this set up on My LMM. The sound quality is not as clear but to maintain a stock deck that is about the only way. Unless you have bose then I have heard of guys tapping into the bose amp for low inputs

I've heard enough stories that the JL 8W7 can pound hard as a good 10" or a cheap 12" while not missing a beat on double beats. I'm planning to do this route in the future. Never underestimate the power of JL audio.....

See I had 2 14's in my last truck. They where so big they werent like fast enough to sound good on some songs or most songs rather. Id be happy with either a 10 or 12

If you get a single sub with a dual voice coil, you will be surprised what a single sub will sound like!!

Smaller subs have harder bass...

Larger subs have deeper bass...
