Awesome! Where did you tap the line at? I tapped mine at the rear door speaker them ran speaker wire back near the amp and put the converter there. I got 4 subs in my truck. It slams pretty good.

I got the same truck and was thinking about doing a similar setup. I'm completely new to car audio. Why did you go with dual subs rather than one? The interior isn't that big to where I would think that having two subs would matter.

I tapped in behind the Radio. I called crutcfield and they gave me the wiring diagram for the truck. I then ran the RCA's down the driverside along with the power and turn on lead. I am happy but this same setup was louder in my old truck. I was runing an aftermarket radio but not in my Chevy. I am looking into a Double Din but I don't want to lost my stearing wheel controls.

there is also a aftermarket part you can buy for aftermarket stereos that allow you to still use your steering wheel controls, its about 60 bucks. do a search on ebay thats where i seen them at. they are made by a company called PAC. the aftermarket stereo has to have a wired remote plug on the back of the stereo though. most of the new dvd/cd double din players do now
