Hey, has anyone ever tried to mount an Edge display in the overhead center pod on a 2007 classic? The one that just has the little storage hole just above the mirror.

should work with the overhead mount for an attitude monitor. I haven't seen anyone do it, but I'm sure it'll work just fine as long as the wiring is long enough.
I hope the wiring reaches, it should if i bring it up from the passenger side considering it would go all the way to the driver side for the normal mount. I don't actually have one yet. Could anyone provide me with the length of the wire to the egt probe and the obd cable. Also could someone give me the size of the opening in the dash mounting pod that comes with it pls.

Theres an overhead mount you can buy that accepts the Edge. Guy Tripp made it and I'm pretty sure some vendors here can get them.
Here's a really old thread from Diesel Place that has some pics. I dont know if he still makes them, but I'm sure there's one or two laying around somewhere. Billet Overhead Attitude/Gauge Mount - Diesel Place

works fine with the attitude, the cord is not long enough with the evo, at least i couldn't see any way for it to reach with my evo race...i might try to relocate my obd port to the fuse box to see if it can reach...anybody have any insight on this? just kinda hate to separate the evo to install it in the mount

I think you can get an extension for the obd2 port

I just bought one from ATS. Its an overhead mount that fits in that spot and it comes with two switches. you can get them with or w/o the switches. But you will definitely need an extension cable for the edge.
