indash dvd question

I am looking at putting an indash DVD player in my truck. Any ideas on a good quality unit at a reasonable cost i.e. around $500 or less?

not really for good quality to be honest...sorry man...the best are the kenwood or the alpines and there around 1000

Kenwood would be my choice & maybe you can find a factory refurb on crutchfield.com They seem to have a few every now & then. But under 500.00 is pushing the limits & you will most likely have to kick in more!

even though i was advised against it i purchased a 400 dollar jenson 7" flip up touch screen 160 watt from walmart and i was extremely satisfied. i had zero problems and that thing made the factory bose stereo sound 10 times better. maybe im just one of the lucky ones but i highly recomend it.
