Windshield noise?

My truck has done this since i have owned it but last night i kinda did some investigating.

When driving once I reach 55 mph It sounds like the windshield is vibrating some. As speed increases it worsens. It kind of sounds like its rain or your hitting lot of bugs lol. but i tried pushing on the inside of the windshield to see if it was loose or something and it continued to make the noise. Any ideas what could be causing this annoying noise? I gotta jam out to the radio in order to cover the noise.

Do you have a Lund or some kind of hood/bug deflector? I think that is what does it on mine, my theory is that it hits the windshield seal and makes the noise. SOUNDS LIKE RAIN. my dads truck does it too... we both have the lund deflectors.

Wasn't there a thread on this a while back? Turned out to be something like the cowl cover? I've had it show up after a windsheild replacement, but never any probs with the deflector.

I believe it's the plastic molding on the edge of the windsheilds. Having the bug deflectors on just might deflect the wind enough to make it worst

I dunno mine is pretty damn annoying, when your at 85 or 90 it sounds like your driving through a hurricane! In these situations I found it best to CRANK THE RADIO!

It is the bug shield that causes the problem , you need to seal both sides of the windshield to fix it . Mine did it from the time I bought it and it did drive me nuts , my nephew works for a stealership and showed me how to fix it . A very common problem.
