Rear Door Locks will not unlock

My rear door locks will not unlock, front ones work fine with remote and inside control panel. The rear locks won't budge (have to unlock manually). Looks like it could be the on/off relay switches. Is this very difficult to replace? Any instructions out there how to do this? Do I need special tools. Can I find the switches in my neighborhood auto parts store? Please

the lock and unlock relays are in the left I/P fuse block which is located in the lower part of the left (drivers) side dash under a traingle shaped cover. they are black relays and they are right next to each other. if you are going to replace one i would just do them both. not long after one goes, the other one will go too.

Thanks for the information, is there a trick to removing the relays?

Rear Door Locks

Did you check to make sure the "Child proof" door lock switch hasn't been activated?

Before I left I had 3 out of the four door lock actuators replaced under warranty both rears and the drivers. Both rears just completly stopped working and the drivers only worked when it wanted to. Is this a common problem?

What year is your truck? The door lock actuators on the '07 and up trucks are complete garbage and go out all the time. I couldn't even tell you how many of them I have replaced. I put 2 in a truck with less than 200 miles on it not too long ago.

Strange you should mention this. My truck is in the shop right now to have the driver's door actuator replaced. Must be a typical sh*&ty GM design.
