| New Guy from Louisiana I'm looking at an 05 GMC Sierra SLT 4WD. It has 74k miles and the dealership is asking 24,400. I'm decently mechanically inclined. I know for a Diesel 74k miles isnt anything but are there any problems with that year model that I need to watch out for? Probably going to be 50/50 driving to work or pulling a carhauler with a Jeep or a camper later down the road. A little bit about me: Live in Southern Louisiana I hunt and fish. |

| The only issue with the 05s is a smaller than required turbo mouth piece. This is easily changed in your driveway. Get them to pull up all the service that has been done to it along with a car fax. It sounds like a pretty good deal though.

| Sounds like a good deal. Just look it over good when you get there. I would ask for the dealership to swap out all the fluids before you get it. This will reset the clock on everything and give you a fresh start.
