| New Duramax Owner from PHX  Just bought my first Duramx today! 2011 Crew Cab 4X4 and it's a stock LT. I'm not new to forums just this one. I appreciate any future advice from all. There are a few things I'd like to do fairly soon... Program the computer for better milage- What is the best way to do this? Are there chips or is it just a computer re-program? Level the suspension- I really don't want to lift the truck anymore than it's current height(just barely fits into the garage). Can you lower the rear a few inches with shackels? I'm not planning on doing any major off roading so the clearence isn't too much of an issue. I plan on towing a couple v-drive boats and a 5th wheel up to the mountains with my Duramax. Looking forward to meeting some of you and don't be afraid to poke a bit of fun at me....It wouldn't seem right if no one did   Last edited by DesertDuramax; 12-03-2012 at 05:48 PM. Reason: add pic |

| Welcome! Post some pics. There is tons of info and opinions on tuning the LMLs. Just a note, any type of tune you decide to do will void your warrenty. To bad you did not live closer, I have a 5th wheel hitch for sale right now: http://www.duramaxforum.com/forum/pa...itch-sale.html . .
