| First Time Duramax Hey Guys, First timer from Maine here on the site, as well as with a Duramax. I've been visiting the site for a few months now and gathering up info, just waiting for the right time to purchase my 1st one. I bought a loaded 2013 about a month ago and just turned 1k miles on it. Its a very nice upgrade from my 2001 Chevy 2500hd gas job. I love all the information i'm gathering from reading the forums. I really dont' like my stock tires, I can live with the rims. Not a huge fan of leveling it without adding the UCA's, pitman and idler arm braces and with that cost, its worth it to buy a suspension lift. That will happen eventually along with a set of 35's. But for now I'm wondering if I could get away with going with a Toyo M/T 275/70/18 on the stock rims and no front end adjustments. What do you guys think?

| That tire is 33.2" tall, doubt they will fit without some sort of rubbing.... Welcome to the forum.

| Thanks guys. Theres so much information on this forum its great. Damax - I was just wondering because I've seen a couple posts where guys were running 305/55/20's on a non leveled, stock front end and they weren't having any problems. Pretty much the same size tire so I was hoping it would work. Might just wait until I get the suspension lift and go with news rims/tires as a package. We'll see.

| My buddy is running them on his 2012 but his front end is up a couple turns. The guy that had it before him had 35's on it and they rubbed a tad.

| Thanks guys. I think I might just go ahead and order the Toyo's in 275/70/18 to go on the stock rims and hope for the best. If I have to, i'll turn up the torsion bars a few turns. I'll post a few pics when it happens Just ordered the extendable towing mirrors since it came with the small ones. Already put a back rack and my toolbox on as well as AVS vent visors. I really want to order the N-Fab cab length steps but have seen mixed reviews about them. Any input from people who have them?
